My name is Rubama Haque and I am pleased to be a senior Clinical Mental Health Counselor-in-Training (CIT) under the supervision of Kimberly Johnson, PhD, LMHC. I am an avid advocate for Mental Health access and seek to break down the stigmas and barriers often associated with mental wellness. My approach is client centered, treating the whole client by on building on strengths. I am experienced working with a range of issues, including addictions and trauma, in within individual and group counseling settings. I also speak Bengali and Urdu fluently.

In my free time, I enjoy painting (although I admit, I am not very good), baking, and playing with my 2 kittens.

I am so glad you are here! And I look forward to connecting with you and being able to provide you the best help we can!
