Canol Melle, Senior Clinical Intern, MHC-I
I am a graduate clinician in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Touro Universuty who brings both experience and a steady, grounded presence into my work. With over 10 years in behavioral health and community-based services, I have supported individuals across a range of life experiences, including those navigating developmental disabilities, aging, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in listening with intention, meeting you where you are, and creating a space where you feel respected, understood, and supported.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology with honors from Touro University and am currently completing my graduate training. I work from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, believing that you are not broken and already carry the capacity for growth. In the therapy space, I show up with patience, care, and cultural awareness, offering support that is compassionate, evidence-informed, and grounded. My goal is to help you slow down, process what you’ve been holding, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence at your own pace.
